Our Aims

At Active Stars, we are all too familiar with the challenge of juggling our work life and family responsibilities. Our aim is to provide top quality, reliable childcare within a safe and nurturing environment, thus offering busy parents and carers the flexibility they need to fit around their work commitments.

Both our breakfast and after school club offer a range of activities designed to reflect the interests of the children in our care. This includes arts & crafts, board games, baking, and multi sports games - to name a few. We also benefit from access to external play areas meaning we can extend our activities outdoors.

You can be sure that your child is in safe hands since we have a fantastic team of experienced childcare professionals who are all certified in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is open on weekdays from 7.30 to 8.50 am, during term time. Children are given a wholesome, healthy breakfast that will prepare them for their busy day ahead (cereals, fresh fruit, toast, etc.).

After breakfast, there is time for the children to engage in free play with a range of games and activities.

Cost: £6.50 per child, per session

After School Club

Our After School Club is open on weekdays from 3.10 to 6.00 pm, during term time. When the school day is over, children can relax, unwind, and have fun with their friends. There’s a wide range of games and activities to get stuck into, as well as access to the outdoor playground. Children are given light snacks and refreshments to tide them over until dinner time.

Cost: £11.50 per child, per session (+£1.50 for the stay late extra til 6pm)

Booking Options

Ad-Hoc: This option allows you to book your childcare as and when you need it. It's great for those who may not have a fixed working pattern or require some extra flexibility. Ad-hoc bookings can be made both in advance and even on the day (subject to availability). Guide for making an ad-hoc booking.

Contract: Rolling contract bookings are ideal for those who require regular childcare that works with their personal schedule. This option allows you to secure the same day(s) and session time each week, rolling on from month to month. Guide for requesting a contract.

Add details of parents/guardians and child(ren) - including collectors, emergency contact and doctor details

Payment Information

Please note that ad-hoc bookings will not be confirmed until payment has been made.

Contract bookings are billed monthly, in advance. Invoices are issued on the 20th of the month before the booking and payment must be made within 10 days. Please allow 5-7 working days for childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare.
